Can I submit a receipt from a business or organization that is not on the marketplace?

Receipts for physical items such as Curriculum materials / School supplies / Technology can only be submitted for items purchased from the stores listed in the keep.ks.gov/marketplace. Receipts for physical items purchased at other stores will be denied for reimbursement.

If there is an organization that provides one of the program-approved services (Day camps, Language classes, Instrument and vocal lessons, Tutoring, Classes) that you don't see listed in the Marketplace and would like to submit a receipt in a claim for, you can input that organization's information during the claims process for consideration. Merit will reach out to the service provider and attempt to qualify them and validate your claim.

If you would like to see a specific business added to the Marketplace, please feel free to submit a request to have them considered for joining the program.
The Service Provider application process is now closed. All services provided by existing providers must be rendered by January 31, 2025. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at qesp-help@keep.ks.gov.

Please note, if you choose to submit a claim for a Service Provider that is not pre-approved, you run the risk of having the claim denied and there may be a longer claims processing time as all providers must be validated before claims can be processed for them.

Non-approved service providers must meet the requirements listed on Page 18 of the Qualified Education Service Provider Handbook.
