Can I buy an item from any store I want and be reimbursed by KEEP?

No. Award beneficiaries can only use KEEP funds to purchase physical goods from approved Qualified Education Service Providers (QESPs) listed on the KEEP marketplace

Spending guidelines:

1. If you want to purchase Curriculum / School Supplies / Technology, you MUST shop at one of the online stores in the Curriculum / School Supplies / Technology section of keep.ks.gov/marketplace. If you submit a receipt for a purchase you made for one of these items elsewhere, it will NOT be reimbursed.

2. If you want to purchase a Musical Instrument, you MUST shop at one of the stores in the Music lessons / Instrument Purchases section of the keep.ks.gov/marketplacee to be reimbursed.

The businesses shown in keep.ks.gov/marketplace provide services that are program-approved

3. For services, keep.ks.gov/marketplace contains listing of businesses that provide program-approved services. Some businesses will require you to pay out of pocket for their services and submit a receipt in the app.keep.ks.gov claims app for reimbursement to you.

4. Some businesses will allow you to submit an unpaid invoice through the app.keep.ks.gov claims app that pays the business directly.
